Terms of member agreement
╬1 House rules
As a member of the Lucky Maniacs, you will treat all members with respect. This means no harassment, insulting or hurting any member on purpose. Racism and/or discrimination in any form will not be tolerated.
As a member of our clan we expect you to wear the clan tag at matches, trainings and trials.
We expect all members to have a consistency in their nicknames, meaning you do not change your nickname every week or month. If you wish to change your nickname, please inform your team leader. If your name is approved, you may start to use it in all official clan matters.
Any form of cheating and/or hacking is forbidden within our clan.
Accusing others of cheating, without proof, is forbidden.
╬2 Chain of command
There is a clear chain of command that decides the protocols and hands out the orders. Should you fail to comply with these orders, this will be seen as an act of treason and dealt with as such.
2.1 Clan leader
The clan leader has the final word in everything. From kicks and banns to accepting new members.
Responsible for recruiting new members.
2.3 War arranger
Responsible for arranging wars/scrims/etc.
You are part of a team led by a team leader. This leader has been selected carefully, thus you are expected to listen to what he/she has to say. Orders from your team leader are final. As such we expect every team member to act as a team, following orders from their team leader.
Know who you are talking to. We all want to be treated with respect, but there is a difference when talking to your superior then when talking to a fellow private. As such you should consider your position within the clan and act as such. Being friendly is not a problem, but ignoring the chain of command is unacceptable.
Team leaders are the symbol of the team, they should give the example for their team how to act and behave. As such we expect team leaders to act as a role model for their team. This means that team leaders need to know everything there is to know about the clan and how it operates, but also need to have a fair deal of game experience to enable them to effectively lead their team.
4.1 Before a match
Before all matches the team gathers for a briefing, in which the tactics that will be used are described and roles are assigned. As such all team members (from the line up for that match) are expected to be present at least 30 minutes beforehand.
During the briefing members are expected to listen to what the plan is and keep their mouths shut. At some point the team leader will give a moment for questions, but until that time you are expected to just listen.
The plans made by the team leader and his/her assistant are final. Team leaders are chosen for their capabilities in tactics and their insight in their team. As such we expect them to make the right choices and as a team member you should do the same.
4.2 During a match
Frustration while playing games is a natural reaction. However it may not affect the outcome of the match. This means that you are not allowed to swear or make any other unnecessary sounds over your microphone. This may result in distraction which no one can use in the middle of a match.
As a member of our clan we expect you to follow the rules. If you do now follow the rules the leaders may be forced to apply one of the consequences upon you.
5.2 Joining. If you want to join our clan you should fill in an application form. This is the only method we accept new members. This form will be processed as soon as possible. Please check the requirements beforehand. Should we be interested in you, we will contact you.
New members will be put in a trial period for one month. In this month current clan members and team leaders will observe and evaluate the new member. When a new member is accepted he/she becomes a member. This cannot be done if the new member is not online for more than 50% of this period.
